Freston, Suffolk - Local History Page Updated April 2006 Freston is a small village 4 miles South East of Ipswich, Suffolk. It is bordered on the north eastern side by the River Orwell and on the other sides by the parishes of Wherstead, Holbrook and Woolverstone.
