"Mrs. P. Samkin, of 20 Tyler Street, Parkeston, desires to Thank the Friends who have so kindly sympathised with her in her sad bereavement in the loss of her dear husband Harry A. Samkin, through the loss of the s.s. Berlin; also to acknowledge the kindness of the G.E.R. Coy's officials, for which she is very grateful.
Samkin - On the 21st February, Harry A. Samkin, the beloved Husband of P. Samkin, drowned in the disaster to the s.s. Berlin, off the Hook of Holland.
"Mr. and Mrs. Samkin and Family desire to express sincere thanks to the many Friends who helped and sympathised with them in their sad bereavement in the loss of their dear son, who was drowned on the Berlin. Thanking the G.E.R. Company and Officials for their great kindness, also for the beautiful wreaths sent.
