In the Name of God Amen. The seventh[?]
day
of August[?] 1615.
I Richard
AMYE of Wanborrow in the
County
of
Surrey Yeoman
being sick in body but of perfect memory thanks be to God.
And knowing the [?] of this life I declare and make my Last Will and Testament
as follows.
Firstly I commend my soul unto the hands
of God my maker [?] only to be saved by [?] of the precious
death
and pardon of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer [?] [?] [?] my
body to be buried according to the direction of my administrators in trust[?]
executrix named.
Item I give to the poor of Wanborow
twenty shillings. And to the poor of the town of Horsham in the County of Sussex
forty shillings to be distributed according to the direction of the
overguardians of the said places.
Item I give and bequeath to

AMYE Junior son of
George
AMYE Senior
of Wanborow aforesaid my nephew all
my chattels rights titles interests and farm of [?] of [?] . And in all that
farm called Wanborrow farm where I dwell and the lands tenements and
appurtenances there to belonging and all of all the stock upon the said farm and
[?]
I give to the said
George
AMYE
And (except the goods as [?] dewelling house [?] debts legacies and funeral
charges payed from of the profits of the said farm).
All of my meaning is that Jane
AMYE my wife shall have the managing and ordering of the said farm and stock
and of the profits thereof till the said
George
AMYE Junior
shall come to age of they so
long
keep themselves unmarried.
And I shall account to the said
George
AMYE Junior
for the profits thereof ([?] To her [?] the said Jane
my wife the sum of one hundred pounds for her pains beside [?] [?]charges
[?][?][?]as shall expenses about[?] the keeping of the said farm and stock.
And my will is [that] she shall enter
sums to the rest of my Administrators for true performance thereof. And I to
give account thereof and receive the profits thereof at his age of one and
twenty years in manner before except [?] provided
next[?] [?] that for as the said farm and stock may be sold[?] In her
opinion and by the direction of my Administrator for the best advantage.
Their my Administrator [?] herein named
to sell the farm. And the money thereof and the debts and legacies
which
are before and after given to be employed to the benefit of
the said

to be paid to him at his age of one and twenty years.
Item I give to the said Jane
AMYE my wife all my goods plate and household effects [?] [?]remarrying
[?] I dwell at Wanborrow aforesaid (except the wast[?] remaining in the
said house).
Item. I give to Richard AMYE son of Henry AMYE one hundred pounds to be paid to him
at the age of one and twenty years.
Item my meaning is that my executors
shall lend unto Henry AMYE my Nephew the
son of John AMYE the sum one hundred pounds for fhne[?] [?] intent paying
any interest [?] he shall first for in his trade (he putting in goods furniture
for the said repayment thereof).
Item I give to the said Jane
AMYE my wife all [?] land in
Henley
in the
county
of
Berks
in the occupation of
John TYMTY. To have and to [?] to her owning her natural life. And after her
decease I give and bequeath the same to the said

and to his heirs and assigns forever.
And to Helen
AMYE my niece the sum of six pounds thirteen shillings seven pence.
I give to my sister
Anne
PETERS
forty shillings a year during her natural life to be paid to her quarter by even
portions .
Item to my sister Margaret BRISTOWE twenty two shillings in gold to make her a ring.
Item my meaning is that my said
wife Jane AMYE shall gone the [?] of the
said two children
